Mynah Exploration Inc was incorporated in 2007 and is a consulting company to the mineral exploration and mining industry. Services include gold project reviews, geological modelling, technical assessments, field site visits, managing drill programs, fieldwork, teaching national geologists about laterite and saprolite formation and how to best collect geochemical soil samples in their project area.
Danae Voormeij, BSc(Hon), MSc, PGeo is a Dutch-Canadian exploration geologist with 20 years experience in exploring for primary gold deposits across the African continent, South Pacific and the Americas. She has designed, budgeted and managed gold exploration programs with up to 100-man camps, running 3 drill rigs 24/7. Ms Voormeij is the principal geological consultant for Mynah Exploration Inc.
In 2012, she made a grassroots discovery of Tuzon, a 2.4 million ounce gold (at 1.5 g/t gold grade) Birimian greenstone belt-hosted orogenic gold deposit, in Liberia, West Africa, for AIM-listed Hummingbird Resources.
Ms Voormeij is a registered professional geoscientist with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC) since 2007 and a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists (SEG) since 2013. She has been a member of both the Canadian Institute of Mining (CIM) and the Geological Association of Canada (GAC) since 2001.
